If you or someone you know is planning to fly north, please consider taking a pooch with you when you go. Our team looks after everything at the departure and the arrival airports – all you need to be do is be available so they can fly along with you.

We fly dogs out of Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta airports. Currently we are working with rescues in Seattle, Las Vegas, Portland, and British Columbia, but we are always looking to expand our connections. We also fly dogs to Calgary at least every 3 months and more often when we have 5 dogs.

Volaris and AeroMexico are our preferred airlines but we may be able to work with others depending on the itinerary. We can also potentially use Alaska airlines and Westjet as airline options. Please don’t hesitate to contact us when you are flying to other cities not listed on the website currently.

We pay to add the dog to your existing reservation and make all the arrangements including transport to the airport, checking in the dogs and handling them.

At the receiving end, you are met by the rescue group which takes over from there. The only sacrifice on your part is your time. You may have to add an extra hour at the starting point and another at the other end.

Our flight angels are an important part of our success. Whether you already have a trip planned to return to the US or Canada, or are thinking about a trip down the road, you can help us just by adding dogs (at no cost to you) to your own flight reservation.

For your information, our favorite airlines for taking our dogs north are:

  • Aeromexico: 11 dogs (10 in belly and 1 under seat).Nonstop from Guadalajara or via Mexico City (Aeromexico will transfer the dogs in Mexico City).
  • Volaris: 5 dogs (4 in belly and 1 under the seat). Nonstop from Guadalajara.
  • Westjet: Up to 5 dogs, depending on the destination and aircraft. Nonstop from Puerto Vallarta or Manzanillo to Canada from 15 October – 15 April.

NOTE: Most US-based airlines have stopped accepting dogs in the belly of the airplane. We occasionally can take 1-2 dogs on Alaska Airlines, either from Guadalajara or beach departure cities, and some US airlines (American, Delta, United) will allow you to take an in-cabin dog. Please provide us some information so we can reach out to you.
