Guest Post Topics
- All guest posts must be on topics of interest to BoneVoyageDogRescue readers seeking ways to celebrate life with their dogs.
- Please choose a topic closely aligned with your expertise or your company’s product. For example, if your company produces dog toys, don’t submit a post on how to become a dog groomer. A narrowly focused guest post on how toys can improve your bond with your new rescue dog or how to select toys for a small-breed puppy would be a better fit.
- Broad, generic post topics such as “choosing a puppy” are not accepted. Please select a narrow topic to be covered thoroughly in a blog post, such as “How to clean your dog’s bed.”
- We don’t accept posts on dog breeding, dogs vs. cats, or aversive training techniques.
- We also do not accept veterinary and nutrition posts except from veterinary professionals.
- Posts need to provide real value to readers. We cannot publish articles that are solely written to provide a link to your company.
Writing Your Guest Post
- Please submit a minimum of 800 words. Preference is given to longer posts of 1,000 words or more, although we realize some subjects don’t require that length.
- All links within the post must provide real value to the reader and be relevant to the subject of dogs.
- Include a 50-word or less bio at the end of your post with a link to your site. If you have a dog or a history with dogs.
- Images aren’t required, but you are welcome to submit images that you own (low-resolution is fine).
